Overview

Vril Wiv Hadfow was founded durring the early 17th century in late fall of the year 1609, by Yakdraetrude. The establishment of Vril Wiv Hadfow was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Yakdraetrude struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Vril Wiv Hadfow as a prison colony.

Vril Wiv Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vril Wiv Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Vril Wiv Hadfow is buildings are located arround a single narrow cobblestone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Vril Wiv Hadfow weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. The budget focused millitary grade defenses has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Vril Wiv Hadfow seems to be abandoned at first. There are people present, working their trades and going about their business like any community, it’s just they are absurdly quiet. Just as you start to think there might be trouble, you see most of them are reading. The entire city feels like a library, with those not reading remaining quite to not disturb those who have their nose in a book. The longer you remain in Vril Wiv Hadfow the more you start to wonder if you’ve entered some strange open-concept University rather than a city, but you can’t quite say such with certainty.

Points of Interest

Vril Wiv Hadfow has been cursed with some blight that makes life difficult, albeit not impossible. An offended sorcerer's vengeful Working, an outraged god's wrath, a local distortion of the Legacy, or a simple history of bad feng shui in the area may have brought the curse about. I(devise not only the curse, but the reason why the locals haven't left for better lands).

Vril Wiv Hadfow has a substantial mill pond located a short distance from town.
